No. Our units draw a few milliamps in sleep mode and are wired through a protected circuit. Every device also carries an internal backup cell that keeps reporting for several hours if main power is cut — which is itself an alert we send you.

The device keeps recording positions to onboard memory and transmits the entire buffered trail the moment it reconnects. Your route history stays complete — you'll see the gap fill in retrospectively rather than lose the journey.

Units are installed in concealed positions and tamper-sealed. Power disconnection, case opening and GSM jamming each raise their own alert with the last known position, so an attempt to disable the device becomes an event you're notified about rather than silence.
